Product advice (frequently asked questions)

In this guide, we explain how floor protection works, when each solution is suitable, and how you should use it.

What is Perfect Cover® floor protection?

Perfect Cover® has an extensive range of self-adhesive cover fleeces and protective films for the temporary protection of floors and surfaces during work.

Perfect Cover® is used for the temporary protection of hard floors during work such as painting, remodeling, finishing, and technical maintenance. Using the selection tool, you can easily determine which variant best fits your application.

Perfect Cover® can only be applied when the underfloor heating is switched off. Active underfloor heating can affect the adhesive layer and the floor protection.

Perfect Cover® is reusable as long as the adhesive layer adheres sufficiently and the cover fleece is undamaged.

When used correctly, Perfect Cover® leaves no adhesive residue. It is important that you choose the right type for the type of subfloor that needs to be covered.

Perfect Cover® can remain in place for a maximum of three months. This is the maximum lifespan of the adhesive layer under normal conditions. After a maximum of three months, the adhesive layer may lose its effectiveness or become more difficult to remove. Timely removal prevents residual issues.

Perfect Cover® can be applied at temperatures between 5°C and 40°C. Outside this temperature range, adhesion may decrease.

Yes, it is always recommended to test Perfect Cover® on a small, inconspicuous area of the floor first to check for suitability.

Most Perfect Cover® cover fleeces are self-adhesive and do not require tape. Only Perfect Cover® Cover Fleece (multi-colored) is not self-adhesive; tape is recommended for this.
